Procedure Text

Procedure Text adalah salah satu jenis teks bahasa Inggris atau yang biasa disebut genre yang menunjukan sebuah proses dalam membuat atau mengoprasikan sesuatu yang berfungsi untuk menggambarkan bagaimana sesuatu dikerjakan melalui langkah-langkah yang teratur. 

Tujuan dari Procedure Text sendiri adalah memberikan petunjuk tentang cara melakukan sesuatu melalui tindakan-tindakan atau langkah-langkah yang urut. 

Berikut ini adalah contoh dari Procedure Text yang pernah saya buat :

HOW TO MAKE FRENCH FRIES

      Materials    :

1) Two medium potatoes       4) Frying pan

2) Salt                                  5) BBQ sauce

3) Vegetable oil

      Steps             :

1) First, Get some potatoes. You will need two medium potatoes.

2) Next, Wash and peel the potatoes of any dirty or grime.

3) Then, Fill a dry pan with vegetable oil about 1/3 of the way full. Set the stove on medium-high heat. If your stove has number settings, set it to 8.

4) After that, Use a sharp knife, chop the potatoes with caution. You can make the slices as thick or thin as you want.

5) Next, Make sure the vegetable oil is hot before you put the potatoes.

6) Then, Cook the potato slices in the frying pan until they are golden brown.

7) After that, Add salt and BBQ sauce while still hot.

8) Finally, The French Fries is ready to serve.
