Notice, Caution dan Warning

A.  Notice/Caution

      Notice/Caution :

Salah satu text fungsional yang berupa petunjuk agar seseorang melakukan atau tidak melakukan sesuatu. Notice/Cautionini dapat berupa frase (gabungan kata), clausa (kalimat), atau berupa  gambar/tanda/sign.

      Fungsi dari Notice :

1.     Untuk memberi petunjuk

2.    Untuk memberi arahan

3.    Untuk mengingatkan seseorang akan hal penting

      Fungsi dari Caution :

1.Untuk melarang orang melakukan hal buruk.

      Macam-macam Notice menurut maknanya :

Notice menurut maknanya dibagi menjadi dua jenis:

·         Notice yang berupa arahan

Notice ini bisa berupa kalimat perintah, ajakan, nasehat, arahan atau petunjuk. Bisa juga berupa gambar/sign/tanda tertentu.Seperti: Be silent,Be careful, Watch your step

·         Notice yang berupa larangan.

Notice ini berupa kalimat larangan, (No, Don’t, Never), atau berupa gambar/tanda/sign yang diberi tanda garis miring atau tanda silang (crossing).Seperti : Don’t be noisy, No parking, Never speak up.

B.  Warning

      Warning :

Larangan agar supaya seseorang tidak melakukan hal tersebut karena dianggap sangat berbahaya. Jadi, warning hampir sama seperti notice tapi tingkat bahayanya lebih tinggi dari notice. Sehingga larangannya bersifat lebih keras.

      Banyak ditemukan :

1.     Jalan Raya

2.    Laboratorium

3.    Bandara

4.    Tempat Umum

      Fungsi Warning :

1.Untuk melarang orang melakukan sesuatu dalam keadaan darurat atau penting.
